If you want to test this out, then just double-click the "start server.bat" and everything should work. Join the server using c0.30 on BetaCraft or use ClassiCube and for the Server IP, type in "127.0.0.1:25565" without quotes. You should be presented with world1 from The30s. If you want to change this, close the server window if you haven't already, delete "server_level.dat", go into the backups folder and copy (CTRL-C) any backup you like from The30s or The30s Alternate. The most significant backups of the server have the special tag "FINAL" in the filename before the world name and after the server name, you can also choose other backups if you would like. Make sure you scroll down to find the backups for the Alternate server as well as that can be interesting. After you have done that, go out of the "backups" folder and paste the .dat file into the main folder with all the batch files and the "server.properties", then rename the .dat you pasted into "server_level.dat" so the server recognises it as the level you want. Then start the server again, join, and you should be on a different world. If you want a completely new world, then just make sure there is no file called "server_level.dat" in the directory, and the server will automatically generate one. If you want a flat world, go into the "backups" folder and find the world flat1 from The30s Alternate. Copy that in, rename it, and it should be a blank flat world, however you will still get caves generated underneath as those have not been removed. If you want to set up a public server, make sure you configure the server so it is ready to go public. Make sure that you turn on backups and preferably set it to a shorter time so that if griefers join, they are not causing any damage as you can revert to previous backups. Make sure you enable both settings so that the server can go on the BetaCraft Server List. Make sure that you change the server name so that people don't get your revival server confused with the new server. If you have done all that, just run the "start server.bat" file, and have a great time (hopefully, if griefers don't join). Thank you for taking an interest in The30s, maybe your revival will go popular, and original players will play on your server! Who knows, you can only try.
